How Design Thinking Fuels Innovation: A Symbiotic Relationship
In a rapidly evolving world, organizations across industries are constantly seeking ways to remain competitive, relevant, and impactful. WiSys VentureHome Partners with Burns Design Strategy for 4-Week Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Across Wisconsin
Late last year I had the pleasure of working with many enthusiastic entrepreneurial-minded people across the state when I led a four-week entrepreneurship bootcamp in four cities. We started planning these workshops last summer and they went really well. Big thanks to Wilson Fay and Adhira Sunkhara with WiSys VentureHome for your inspirational vision and support! Thank you also to the rest of the VentureHome team and your many partners across Wisconsin. Innovation in Wisconsin is alive and well!
University of WI DOVS Partners with Burns Design Strategy for Mentoring Workshops
Last summer, I met Dr. Christina Thomas-Virnig, Ph.D. at the Madison/Milwaukee chapter of Women in Biohealth | Wisconsin Happy Hour. We were talking and I mentioned I had recently made my design strategy business my professional focus. Shortly thereafter, Christina introduced me to her colleague, Dr. Tetyana Schneider.
Together, they lead a robust mentoring program - People Enriching People (PEP) - which fosters and promotes the career aspirations of the Department of Visual Studies (DOVS) and the UW Health Ophthalmology community.
